DEVOTED TO PERSONAL GROWTH AND DRIVEN BY FAMILY VALUES.
As a devout father, family man and educated first-generation university graduate from California State Polytechnic Pomona, personal growth and determination to provide my family with a prolific lifestyle have encouraged me to reach for success and exceed expectation in anything that I do.
Growing up I have always been fascinated with computers and emerging technologies. I vividly remember learning to read so I could master using our Windows 95 PC on my own, being the inquisitive 4 year old that I was. As I matured my skills with computers and personal electronics did as well. I became known to family, friends and colleagues as the “IT Guy”. As a hobby I would repair, upgrade, modify, build and optimize computers and other portable electronics. That same love for tinkering and learning new things turned into a lifelong passion that led me towards the schooling and degree I now hold today.Read More

CORE VALUES.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME.
There are a handful of core competencies I follow in anything I do that have helped me get to where I am today.
01. SERVANT LEADERSHIP.
Although not always the most common form of management, Servant Leadership is something that I have grown to lead by. As a Front End Supervisor I look at each of my 40+ employees as team members all trying to reach the same goal. Empathy and understanding is necessary to fully optimize performance from every person and part of a project, no matter how insignificant they may think their job is. I follow the, “How can I help you, so we can all help each other.” approach. I do not consider myself to have higher esteem than any one of my employees and will work right beside anyone to achieve our combined goals.
02. PROFESSIONALISM.
Professionalism should be expected in any corporate environment, and will lead to a more productive workplace all around. I come to work to get work done. Gossip and trivial matters should be kept out of the workplace and ignored at all times. I believe there is a time and place for everything but the job site is not generally one of them.
03. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.
It is important for me to stay current in a variety of aspects in the Information Technology field for professional and personal reasons. I believe it is important to know about current information security threats for my well being as well as that of my family and work place. I also like to learn about new technologies and how they can optimize networks and processes to make them more efficient and user-friendly in the long run. I enjoy learning about consumer products and what is to be expected with the new processing power we acquire almost every year with processor, and chipset developments and updates.
04. DETERMINATION TO GROWTH.
As inquisitive as I am, I am constantly trying to learn new things about the world we live in. Not only do I have interest in Information Technology, I also enjoy cooking, documentaries, gaming, etc. You can always find me reading articles on new subjects that have recently caught my attention until I have a grasp on what I was looking to learn.
05. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND AWARENESS.
I believe it is necessary to be kind without the expectation of anything in return. Instead of judging and mistreating people empathy, and caring should be what guides individuals daily. I try to make an effort to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. In a work environment I will never hesitate to give a helping hand or attempt to cheer up someone who isn’t having the best day. By treating others how you would like to be treated you can make huge strides personally and as a company.

NEVER BE COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW.
The main reason I entered the Information Technology field was to learn about all of the new emerging technologies and how they worked, to more successfully utilize them towards my career. As the Information Technology field is constantly expanding and evolving over time, so is my knowledge of the new standards and technologies used. I love to learn new things and am constantly trying to further develop myself and grow to become a more knowledgeable individual in the field.
